John Ehlert is alive and well

John Ehlert, our 10th grade biology teacher is alive and well. He lives in Glen Lake and is about 6 blocks from my house.  I visit him and bring him books.  
He will be 101 years old on November 27.  
Up until a few years ago he lived in a rustic cabin in northern Minnesota.  He built the cabin after he retired from EHS.  Last year his son Bill encouraged him to move back to Minnetonka to live closer to him.  
John was my favorite teacher.  Was he yours?
